Turnage Rental Cars
At Turnage Rental Cars, we keep our process clear and straightforward so you know exactly what to expect before booking.
Pickup and Return Location
All rentals must be picked up and returned at our office:

We do not offer delivery or alternate pickup or drop-off locations at this time.
Rental Requirements
To rent a vehicle, you must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Provide a valid driver’s license
- Provide proof of active auto insurance
- Provide a valid payment method
- Complete and sign the rental agreement
All rentals are subject to approval.
Driver Eligibility
Drivers must have a valid license that:
- Is not expired, suspended, or revoked
- Remains valid for the entire rental period
For safety and insurance purposes, rentals may be declined based on driving history.
Payment and Deposit
- Payment is required before the rental begins
- A $100 refundable deposit is required for all rentals
Your deposit may be used toward:
- Fuel charges
- Cleaning fees
- Late return fees
- Tolls, tickets, or violations
- Damages or unpaid balances
Fuel Policy
Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when picked up.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a charge will apply:
- $15 per quarter tank
Insurance and Coverage
Renters are required to use their own active auto insurance.
Turnage Rental Cars does not offer:
- Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
- Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)
- Personal Accident Insurance or Personal Effects Coverage (P&P)
- Liability Insurance Supplement (LIS)
By renting, you agree that your personal auto insurance serves as primary coverage during the rental period.
Driving Restrictions
- Vehicles must remain within South Carolina
- Out-of-state travel is not permitted
Tolls, Tickets, and Violations
You are responsible for all charges incurred during your rental, including:
- Toll roads
- Traffic violations
- Parking tickets
- Any related fees
These charges may be billed after your rental is complete.
Smoke-Free Policy
Turnage Rental Cars maintains a 100% smoke-free fleet to ensure all vehicles remain clean and fresh for every customer.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted in any vehicle, including:
- Cigarettes
- Cigars
- Pipes
- Vapes or e-cigarettes
If smoke odor is detected upon return, a $300 cleaning fee will be charged.
Vehicle Cleanliness
Vehicles must be returned in reasonable condition.
Additional cleaning fees may apply for:
- Pet hair
- Excessive dirt or staining
- Trash or spills
- Strong or lingering odors
Authorized Drivers
Only drivers listed on the rental agreement are permitted to operate the vehicle.
Late Returns
Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time.
Late returns may result in additional charges.
Additional Identification
In some cases, a second form of identification may be required. Acceptable forms may include:
- A recent bill showing your name and address
- A valid passport
- A U.S. military ID
Rentals may be declined if proper identification is not provided.
Vehicle Availability
Vehicle photos are for reference only.
You may not receive the exact vehicle shown, but a similar vehicle in the same class will be provided whenever possible.

Agreement
By reserving a vehicle, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Rental Policies and accept responsibility for the vehicle and all related charges during your rental period.
